This is an anthology title centered on the experiences of trans individuals in Latin America. It contains the following stories:
“Psicopompo” by Gaspar Aguirre depicts a trans woman who is the victim of transphobic violence.
“Anilina” by Lino Arruda is autobiographical. The author is transmasculine.
“Papu” by Constanza Oroza depicts a sexual encounter between two people, both of whom appear to be trans men.
“Reflexões” by Ellie Irineu considers the relationship between genitals and identity.
“Bloqueo” by KamiKama shows a couple discussing their relationship in what may be a science fiction setting.
“Corazón disyuntor” by Matías Santellán and Serafín is set in a dystopian state
“Todo lo que no soy” by Majo Puga reflects on what it is to be neither man nor woman.
“Tretinhas” by Lázaro is a humorous look at the life of a trans man.
“El regreso” by Julia Inés Mamone and Ivana Bordei depicts a child’s first encounter with gender transgression.
“Barnabás” by Patricio Oliver depicts a hookup between a cis gay man and a pansexual trans man.
“Felices 27 vidas con sus respectivas muertes” by Clara Esborraz provides wordless images from a life.
“Garçon” by Edo Brenes describes two-spirit identities, and considers how one might wish to take on aspects of one gender while retaining another.
“Trámite” by Guido Barsi and Macarena Rijo looks at a trans woman and the difficulties she encounters when it comes to her legal name.
“Acuenda esse pajubá!” by Isadora Simões and Lays Cunha depicts two trans women.
“Tratamiento hormonal” by Manuel Strusa shows a trans man throughout his transition.
“Diana Sacayán. Fue travesticido” by Flora Capella, Ana Fornaro, and Maru Ludueña describes the murder of trans activist Diana Sacayán.
“Mostremorfosis” by Mikel Machin and Melipal Labrit depicts a young trans person.
“El chino y yo” by Gonzalo Agüero shows a teen struggling with their gender identity.
“Chuquichinchay” by no tengo miedo provides insight into the experiences of Peru’s queer community, starting with the Inca and proceeding to the 20th century.
“The Bearded Ladies” by Malu is a series of figures that have beards and are wearing dresses.
“Ey ma” by Sophia Riviere depicts a coming out.
“Nossa Bandeira jamais será vermelha” by Mário César depicts a trans woman who is a sex worker and who is the victim of transphobic violence.
